Guest informations

Dear Guests!

We are pleased that you have chosen our guesthouse. Our goal is to provide you with the highest possible level of service during your stay here. That's why we've put together a guest brochure that contains all the important information you might need. If you did not find the answer to all your questions, we are more than happy to help you at the reception. We trust that your time here will be undisturbed and that you will leave satisfied and recharged on the day of your departure.


On the day of arrival between 14:00 and 21:00. It is also possible to check in between 21:00 and 07:00, in that case, please notify us in advance!

Accepted debit and credit cards
In our guesthouse, we accept MasterCard, MC Electron, Visa, Visa Electron, AMEX cards.
Unfortunately we do not accept SZÉP cards.

Payment methods
Payment can be made at the reception in cash (HUF, EUR, USD) or credit and debit card, sometimes by bank transfer. The HUF amount is calculated based on the currently valid daily MNB exchange rate. Unfortunately we do not accept SZÉP cards.

Reception service
The reception is open from 07:00 a.m. to 21:00 p.m. with a receptionist present. At night from 21:00 p.m. to 07:00 a.m. guests can enter and exit the hotel with an individual gate code. If necessary, we provide a key box.( Please inquire about this at the reception) When leaving the hotel, please always hand in your room key at the reception or place it in your key box. (If the room key is taken out and lost, we charge €150 as reimbursement.) The reception is available by phone 24 hours a day. In addition to Hungarian, the reception staff speaks English, German, occasionally Italian, French, Russian, Ukrainian, but at least two foreign languages.

In the breakfast room, we serve our guests a buffet breakfast (with both a hot and cold food and drinks selection) between 07:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. The entrance to the breakfast room opens from the lobby. There is a hand sanitizer dispenser at the entrance to the hall, which we kindly ask you to use upon entering.

In order to provide all our guests the most peaceful stay and in case of possible allergies, unfortunately we do not welcome pets in our hotel, neither in the rooms or in the garden (not even in cages).

Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and closed areas of the hotel. Smoking is only allowed in the yard and on the terrace. In case of indoor smoking (also in the window or in the bathroom), extra cleaning and deodorization costs EUR 100 (or HUF equivalent).

The hotel is only responsible for valuables placed in the safe at the reception.

Camera system
In order to ensure the safety of our guests, a camera surveillance system operates in the common areas and corridors of our hotel.

Wi-Fi / internet access
Wi-fi internet is available in the rooms, public spaces and the garden, free of charge. In case you experience some troubles connecting, please ask the reception colleague for help. All MANZARD routers work with the same password

The lobby is furnished and decorated with tables, armchairs, and artistic leather pictures. There is a full-length leather mirror, as well as umbrellas in a holder, a display case with souvenirs for purchase, and wall-mounted postcards.

Luggage storage
In case of early arrival, we can store your securely sealed luggage free of charge until the room is occupied. In case of late check-out, we can store your luggage until 9:00 p.m. that day. Please contact the reception with your request!

Information materials
You will find a map, program recommendations and brochures at the reception and in the lobby.
In case you need further information, please ask the receptionist for help.

You can choose from Budapest postcards displayed on the wall rack in the lobby. Stamped postcards can be sent to postal collectors upon request.

Cultural programs
In accordance with your interests, our hotel reception is ready to recommend a variety of cultural events and attractions in the city and the region, and provide information on city transportation possibilities. Brochures, program booklets can be found at the reception and lobby.

Photocopying, printing, scanning
At the reception, it is possible to copy, print out and scan documents sent online (e.g. flight tickets, boarding passes). This service is free of charge up to 5 pages.

Shoe cleaning
A shoe cleaner/shiner machine is located in the lobby in front of the reception next to the entrance door.

Umbrellas can be borrowed free of charge from the stand next to the entrance door.


Room equipment
The rooms have a dressing mirror, paper basket, nightstands, nightlights, desk with chair, lighting, small table with armchairs, room safe, wall clothes hangers, inverter split air conditioner, 2 glass glasses on the desk. Each room has a bathroom. On the desk shelf you will find a copy of the trilingual (Hungarian, German, English) "New Testament"

Our rooms are equipped with a safe. The key to the safe can be requested at the reception.
Instructions for use of electric safes can be found on the safes. Please leave it open at check-out.
The use of the safe is free of charge, but we ask for a deposit for the key.

Single bed size: 0.90 m x 2.00 m. Double bed size (with two beds joined without gaps): 1.80 m x 2.00 m. The modern 13 cm thick mattresses are coated with an anti-allergenic mattress protector.
The mattress protectors are regularly washed and disinfected at high temperatures. Please indicate your bedding preference when making a reservation. (Basic bedding: twin bed.) We prepare a baby bed for a child aged 0-3 years (on prior request) free of charge.

Baby cot
We can provide a cot free of charge for guests arriving with children aged 0-3 upon prior request.

Room cleaning
The rooms are cleaned daily between 08:00 and 14:00. Please indicate individual requests at the reception.

Change of bed linen and daily cleaning
During the daily cleaning, we replace the consumed items from the minibar, and we change the towels if necessary or desired. Bed linen is changed twice a week. Upon request, we provide clean bed linen daily, for extra charge . In case you have this request, please inform us at the reception!

Each room has a minibar. You can find the price list on the fridge. The refrigerator works as a minibar, so please do not unpack it. If you want to cool a larger amount of food or an ice pack, ask for help at the reception, we will do everything possible to fulfill your request.

Air conditioning
Inverter split air conditioning is available in the rooms and in the lobby. If you have any questions about its operation, please let us know at the reception.

The electricity in our guesthouse is 220V/50Hz. For our guests coming from abroad, we provide an adapter suitable for international use, upon request. Adapters can be requested at the reception. (Deposit is required.)

Outlets / sockets
The rooms have sockets next to the bed and at the desk. For fire protection reasons, large consumers (e.g. heaters, electric heaters, irons) cannot be connected to the connectors.

The rooms are heated with underfloor heating and each room has a thermostat.

The rooms have modern, color LED televisions. You will find a TV remote control in the rooms, please leave it in the room when you leave.

Every bathroom in our guesthouse has a toilet, sink, shower cubicle or bathtub, toilet shelf, mirror with adequate lighting, covered socket, fixed hair dryer and trash can. The bathrooms have a towel rack, one each hand towel and 70x140 cm bath towel. They are equipped with a floor towel, toothbrush cups, and a spare toilet paper holder. Every bathroom has a ventilation system or has a window.

Bathroom products
Our guests will find various toiletries (soap, shower gel in a dispenser), hygiene bags, toilet paper and spare toilet paper in the bathroom.Toothbrushes, toothpaste and disposable razors can be requested at the reception for a separate fee.

Tap water is safe to drink.

The bathrooms are equipped with one hand towel and one 70x140 cm bath towel per person, as well as a washable floor towel.

Towel change
Towels are changed on demand, need or request, or even daily. Please indicate your request by placing the towel on the floor.

Hair dryer
The hair dryer is mounted on the wall in the bathroom.

We can provide help in case you need washing (unfortunately no dry cleaning!) of clothes and outerwear for a fee, with a deadline of one day.

We use a seasonal quilt, found on the beds. Extra blanket can be found prepared in the wardrobe.

1 pillow per person in each room. A hygienic anti-allergenic pillow is in a pillow case. We can provide an additional pillow upon request.

Wardrobe, hanger, clothes hanger, suitcase rack
Each room has a wardrobe of appropriate size (with shelves for underwear, uniform hangers, a suitcase rack), and a wall-mounted clothes hanger.

Room darkening
The rooms have retractable blackout curtains or blackout blinds.

Room lighting
All rooms have adequate ceiling lighting, bedside lamps, and desk lamps. The room lighting can also be controlled with the switches above the bed. When leaving the room, when removing the card that controls the lighting, all lights are turned off, but the minibar and air conditioning continue to operate.

All non-mansard roof rooms have light-transmitting and blackout curtains, and mansard roof rooms have blackout blinds.

Each bed has a bedside table.

Each room has a desk with adequate lighting and a chair.

Seating in the rooms
The rooms are furnished with a desk, a chair, a small table, and armchairs.

There is an adequate number of uniform hangers in the wardrobes of the rooms.

Public phone
The telephone in the rooms serves to maintain contact within the hotel (Reception: 130).
Outgoing city calls (with the exception of premium calls) can be made free of charge from the reception. Please inform our staff member in case you want to use it for outgoing calls.


In the closed garden of our hotel parking spaces are available, usage is for extra charge. This service cannot be ordered in advance, it can only be requested when checking in. Selection is in order of request, while we have free places. Street parking is available, it has to be paid at the parking machines in the street. A maximum of 3 hours can be paid at once.

In the garden during the summer season, a 5x10 meter pool is available for use, heated by a solar collector, a closed and an open (but covered) terrace with chairs, tables, a garden furniture set, outdoor exercise machines, swing beds, sunbeds, games (balls, badminton, basketball, petanque) are available to our guests on request. Pool closes at 10 p.m. The opening of the pool during the day depends on the weather. (We will not open or close the pool cover in the event of rain, strong wind, or storms.
Separate colored bath towels (1 per person/day) is provided for the pool. Please do not take these towels into the room.
Rules for using the pool can be viewed in the garden (in 8 languages). Please follow them.
Children 0-3 years old cannot use the pool, children 4-14 years old can only use it under parental supervision at the parent's and the adult's own responsibility. The same rules apply to exercise machines. Bringing or using glass at the pool area is forbidden!


Lost and found
We will do everything we can to ensure that your valuables that are important to you, but forgotten with us, are kept safe for you! Please inquire by e-mail about the item you forgot here, indicating the room number, name and the period spent here. We keep items and clothes for 3 months.

Please check the floor plan in your room, on the room door, where we have marked the nearest escape route.

Please give us your feedback and share your experience at the reception, by e-mail after departure, or on the platforms of our electronic partners. However, it is most expedient to notify us personally, immediately, if you have a problem with one of our services, something is not working properly, because then we can solve the problem immediately. We appreciate all comments!

- Preparing hygiene bags for our female guests in the bathroom (in a holder).
- Offer free of charge postcards of the hotel in the rooms and in the lobby.
- Order food for a guest from an external restaurant with courier delivery.
- Sale of program tickets and entrance tickets, postcards.
- Taxi order.
- Helping to obtain medical or technical assistance.
- Providing help with non-prescription medicine (e.g. painkillers, antipyretics,
disinfectants, bandages, etc.) and help with requesting medical care if needed.
- Sale of gifts.
- Sending stamped postcards by post.
- Sending valuables and clothing items left at the hotel to the guest (with postage paid).
- In the absence of a charger for the guest's phone, if possible, charging the phone.
